The American Buffalo Gold Coin series has been one of the most popular bullion coin releases ever! Earlier in 2009 the U.S. Mint reported that due to a shortage of 24 karat gold blanks, the American Buffalo Gold Coins would not be minted this year.
This summer, U.S. Mint officials realized that annual production of the 2009 American Buffalo gold is required by law. This is fantastic news for the collector/investor as the 2009 series is sure to have an extremely limited mintage. The first "Early Releases" just arrived this week.
Not Available from the U.S. Mint
As always, the bullion series of American Buffalo Gold Coins will not be available from the U.S. Mint. While they last, the Austin Gold Information Network will now release the 2009 American Buffalo Gold Coins directly to the public.
Official Legal Tender
The American Buffalo Coins are unique as the first ever 24 karat gold coins minted by the U.S. Mint. No other coin in the world is minted with higher standards of gold purity.
The American Buffalo Gold Coins are official legal tender struck at the U.S. Mint in West Point. They bear all the official coin designations– United States of America, Liberty, E Pluribus Unum, and In God We Trust. They exhibit their gold weight and content as well as a $50 face value,
Minted in 99.99% Solid Gold
The American Buffalo Gold Coins contain one troy ounce of gold refined to a .9999 purity. These are the only coins of their kind fully backed and guaranteed by the U.S. Government as to purity, weight, and 24 karat gold content.
Designed for Collectors & Investors Alike
The incredible appeal of this series extends beyond the purity of the gold alone. The classic American Buffalo and Indian designs, which originally appeared on U.S. nickels, has been meticulously engineered to fit on a large 24 karat gold coin that is over one and a quarter inches in diameter.
The Quality of a Miniature Sculpture
Photos cannot begin to capture the extraordinary details and three dimensional relief of this numismatic delight. In many ways, this coin resembles a miniature sculpture honoring the American Buffalo on one side and Lakota Sioux Chief Iron Tail on the other.
We Expect an Immediate Sellout
Due to the extremely limited mintage period for the American Buffalo Gold Coins in 2009, only the one ounce sizes in Gem Brilliant Uncirculated condition will be released this year.
Our allocations are extremely limited and we could sell out at any time. We urge you to order today from the Austin Gold Information Network to avoid disappointment.
